Greetings Brian:
As promised: enclosed please find your completed questionnaire which I find insufficient to even outline some of the content of my work. Editing to 50 words is a challenge.
FYI I travelled the world on a 1000 day voyage meeting many elders and wise people from many traditions seeking knowledge and wisdom.. I am respected as an "elder in training" by many indigenous leaders. (Tibet, Nepal, Korea, Mexico, US, Brazil, Canada) My vision is contained within but is itself only a small vision of what I do on the world scene ( Vision 2015 in 2015 words).
I have presented our ideas (and they were endorsed ) at the Inaugural meeting of the Foundation for a Culture of Peace in Madrid Spain . I was invited there by the former Secretary General of UNESCO (12 years SG) - Federico Mayor Zaragoza - he endorsed our strategy in front of 250 of the world leading peacemakers. Our program also won an award in 2001 for Creating Futures Conscious Organizations - by the World Futures Studies Federation. (Philippines)
To allow me only 50 words in this election campaign is an insult I do not deserve - nor do you for only allowing me this.
I trust you will use your good offices and see how our vision of the Future might find its way into the pages of the Toronto Star. (Our Vision for 2015 in 2015 words)
The Proclamation referred to will follow in a few days!
Certainly the Star has given enough exposure to lesser ideas.
May peace be with you

Campaign Platform: (In no more than 50 words explain why you are seeking elected office and what you hope will be your major accomplishment.)
I am not seeking elected office. I am attempting to get issues of importance discussed. I wish you would help
I object to this process. I believe it is more important that the ideas of the candidates be brought forth fully. I believe in democracy - not a media designed interpretation of democratic process. My campaign is intended to bring forth the discussion of issues of importance. 50 words is NOT enough. I am including my Vision of Toronto in the year 2015 - 2015 words - no less!
My fifty words - to satisfy your view of democracy:
How do we spend money? who teaches us? what? Whom do we seek advice from? What Values we work with? Intentions of political process?
Should the UN locate here? Why a Vendor Policy Code for Toronto (CSR) ? Relationship of Millennium Development Goals of Secretary General of UN to Toronto?
