Follow up letter to Canada Transport Agency

Greetings:

Further to our note of September 27th we are writing to advise the Canada Transport Agency and Porter Airlines that it is our intention to take what steps are necessary to have the license issued to Porrter Airlines rescinded.

It is our intention to call for a boycott of all corporations that have their employees or Board members use this airline.  Our boycott will be peacefull but will include a public campaign of anyone using the airline.  We will follow closely who gets on and off the plane and do our own sense of due diligence in order that corporations are given full warning of this consequence of using Porter Airlines.

We trust this notice will be forwarded in an official capacity to Porter Airines in order that it may inform its customers of  the corporate risk that they are taking.

All corporations doing so will be advertised in the public media and concerned people will be able to express their concerns by not patronizing corporations using this unneeded service.

I thank you on behlaf of our Trust,  the owneers of the Land on which the Airline operates.

Sincerely,

Mitch Gold
Trust Organizer

Greetings to  the Minister of Transport Mr Canon:

Attached find a letter received today from the Minister of Indian and Northern Affairs assigning you responsibility for the Toronto Islands.

We hereby put you on formal notice to rescind the licence assigned to Porter Airlines pending a settlement of our Land Claim  ( the First Nations Indigenous Trust - which has full unsatisfied and uncontested claims on all Lands South of Front Street including The Airport.)

We further put you on notice that we will hold you responsible for all legal costs that we incur to STOP the airline from proceeding under your licence which may include costs of a sit-in.

We further put you on notice to put an immediate injunction on the use of the airport for anything other than business that we agree upon with you.

We write this on behalf of the First Nations Indigenous Trust and the People of Toronto who do not want to see this airport expanded in this manner, and in protection of the Portlands strategy that the TWRC is currently engaged.

We find your issuance of Licence an abrogation of your responsibility as administrators of the public trust and an affront to the Tasse Commission that is currently investigating this matter.

Please advise when you rescind the Licence  in order to minimize legal costs.

In peace

Mitch Gold
