Marketing and Management
Homeplanet.org Brand Label Logo Licensing We will, through our volunteer network be developing incremental marketing through a number of activities /events through the Mayors offices in 100 cities as a starting place – We expect to grow to double our capacity on a quarterly basis. Our label that will be attached to the products of the participating corporation will be perceived as – "approved" rating – similar to the "good housekeeping seal of approval". In to-days business climate, this kind of "label" will have a profound effect. Start-up Management will be organized by Mitchell Gold and his volunteer team who have developed this program from its original concept to this point. Alliances are being sought in each sector that will bring the management expertise of that sectors involvement. Global Marketers will be our licensees. Additional Management will be retained to run the program in each sector from the funds generated by leasing the logo to the various sectors. |
||||
The Vision | ||||
Our logo will become the logo of choice as the Most Socially Responsible Brand Label.
We will demonstrate through concrete business results that individuals will support
this logo as it will provide a simple way to make a global contribution.
Our logo will become the logo of choice in all sectors in which it participates. The results of the logo use and the development of the Global Accountant function and the SA 8000 standard, the GRI and the UN Global Compact will enrich the world corporate community in humanities desire to create global commerce in a responsible manner. Commentary: It had been hoped that the United Nations and its logo would perform this task. It is clear that the UN has neither has the capacity nor the political will to develop the programs necessary to fund itself at the necessary levels. While there has been much in the way of change at the UN, and the Secretary General’s Millennium Report identifies a desire for change, the organizing principles of the UN itself does not allow the UN to achieve the goals as expressed by his Report. Our Program, after the research phase, will be able to finance civil society at a greater level than is proposed by the Secretary General Report, and will empower the UN to utilize its resources in the best possible manner for the six billion people of the planet. |

The 1% Solution: Executive Summary – Presentation: World Futures Study Federation Award
The 1% Solution as proposed by my associate Mitch Gold of IAEWP Canada is a voluntary global tithe implemented through a Brand Label Marketing strategy. The program is supported around the world by dignitaries such as Federico Mayor, Boutros Boutros-Ghali, Dr. Young Seek Choue, T.Y.S. Lama Gangchen and many others. This program contains wholistic education models, and is delivered to society through educators both formal and informal and is available over the internet at www.homeplanet.org. The program strategy is built around the Culture of Peace initiatives of both UNESCO and the United Nations and satisfies the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual perspectives of individuals.. The program has contained within it several universal thinking filters that encourage global thinking and instilling positive human values with an unbiased approach. Its primary starting point is a Vision Changer curriculum which encourages a visualization process followed by taking action to create an individuals' preferred world view.
The program has been developed around the Manifesto 2000 document of the Culture of Peace movement and is to be implemented into society formally through educators and informally through Olympic Athletes trained to deliver the messages of the program into schools, community centers and the business community through the Mayors offices in each city. Four related formal Proclamations have been enunciated - and a variety of sectors of civil society will be encouraged to make the formal Proclamation.
This program and process is in a research phase, and when implemented will raise significant funding for civil society. Communities world wide that are experiencing cutbacks, downsizing and elimination as drastic need for their existence grows. The spend and control function on the funds generated will be under the guidance of "elders" from civil society and will be selected from outside the existing UN and intergovernmental structures. The process for selection is occuring during the two year research phase. This program offers hope and partial solution to the mega crisis we face on planet earth and will be enriching for communities to engage in the program at all levels of practical experience. Dr. Charles Mercieca Ph.D. Founder and President of the IAEWP |

I - Management & Operations
Management Philosophy
Our philosophy is built upon holistic models of thinking. These models have been developed from ancient wisdom and are consistent with most if not all of the leaders in societal change.
For reference: http://www.homeplanet.org/alliance (thinking filters)
Beginning with our visioning processes, and our educational thinking filters, all of our activity is developed around sacred organizing principles- without attachment to any one specific philosophy – other than that of excellence. We look at the organic nature of business and of the human condition necessary for sustainability. |
||||
Management Team | ||||
Program Leader is Mitchell Gold. A Chartered Accountant who has developed this vision and worked with many others on developing each aspect of this program.
Our Advisory Board will form the Core of our Management Team, and we will bring on other profiled individuals to assist with the marketing of our Brand Label. We are seeking advice from our Board as to the Best managers in the areas necessary for our success. Management will be developed within the program from each sector through our designation and accreditation process. Team Players have been supporting this development for a number of years, and their individual projects will be funded as funds are raised. Our management will earn its position, and will not be there because of something they may have done in the past, but more so will be selected because of what they are intending to do in the future to serve the implementation strategy of a Culture of Peace. |
