Imagine a net work of children around the world visioning
their preferred world view. Starting locally, each
school will develop their own unit of Vision Changers.
Children will be taught to create their own vision of their preferred
world view.
This idea was first created as part of the Planetary
Initiative for the World We Choose, a global think tank. The planetary
initiative developed the process for creating a preferred world
view by consensus. The anology that holds true for this visioning
process is that if we do not have a vision of where we are going,
we probably will not get there.
It is very clear that a bleak vision of the Planet Earth is being fed daily by the media. This negative approach creates anxiety, frustration, and a sense of helplessness. The "Earth Day" project, Vision Changers, and similar awareness concepts are necessary to empower our children and motivate them towards participation.
The Vision Changers will be an active group of children first creating their view by consensus and then challenging their peers to develop their own preferred world view.
When we have enough people visioning the world the way we would prefer it, then perhaps those individuals in government and business will make the decisions which are necessary to allow our vision to become reality.
The Vison Changers spend 30 seconds to one minute every day visioning their preferred world view.
